The Late Jim Watah was recently inducted into the National Indian Athletic Association Hall of Fame in Reno Nevada, during the National Basketball tournament. He was inducted for his Skill and effort he displayed in Basketball tournaments all over Indian country. Ernie Steven's recalled "Jim could play inside he could play outside, He could play intense, He could wrestle you, He could Finesse you.   Whatever you wanted him to do. He was not just an athlete but a Beautiful man"
Jim's Younger Brother Steve Watah was very honored to accept the award that NIAA Chairman Ernie Stevens presented.
